Lansing Regional Chamber Endorsed Candidates Enjoy A Perfect Election Night Record

All Nine Chamber Endorsed Candidates Win Races for Lansing Mayor, Lansing City Council, LCC Board of Trustees and Lansing School Board

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce' Political Action Committee (LRC PAC) enjoyed an unprecedented perfect record on election night as all nine LRC PAC endorsed candidates were elected to office.

"This is a huge day for the business community and the region as a whole," said Kristin Beltzer, senior vice president/public policy for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce.  "The voters have chosen candidates who share our vision for a pro business-pro growth agenda for the region."

LRC PAC endorsed nine candidates in five local election races, including:

Virg Bernero-Lansing Mayor

Kathie Dunbar-Lansing City Council, At-Large

Jessica Yorko, Lansing City Council, 4th Ward

Deb Canja-LCC Board of Trustees

Larry Meyer-LCC Board of Trustees

Robert Proctor-LCC Board of Trustees

Myra Ford-Lansing School Board

Amy Hodgin-Lansing School Board

Nino Rodriguez-Lansing School Board

LRC PAC supported its nine endorsed candidates by promoting their candidacy to the business community and urging Chamber members to be active at the polls.

"The voice of the business community has been heard in this election year," said Beltzer. "The election results show what the business community can achieve when it puts forth a concerted effort and united front in the public policy arena."
