The Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) is pleased to announce the 9th annual Empty Plate Dinner & Auction. Each year this event has grown and is now one of Lansing’s premier fundraising events. The Empty Plate Dinner will take place on Wednesday, May 13th at the Kellogg Center. Guests enjoy a casual strolling dinner with amazing food and drinks from the area's top restaurants and caterers, a commemorative 'empty plate' painted by children at local elementary schools, and unique live and silent auction options, including sports and vacation packages.
The major sponsors of this year’s event include: McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital, Earthcom, Inc. and Jackson National Life Insurance.

About the Greater Lansing Food Bank
In 2014 the Greater Lansing Food Bank distributed close to 7 million pounds of food to those in need in our community. This food contributed to close to 6 million meals in our community.
The GLFB is a regional food bank and in partnership with close to 150 agencies, serves the hungry throughout the seven (7) county service area of Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Shiawassee, Gratiot, Clare and Isabella counties.
