The Greater Lansing Heart Walk is a non-competitive walking event that raises the critical dollars to support the American Heart Association’s lifesaving research, programs and education to help fight heart disease & stroke, America’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers. The fundraising event also encourages the importance of physical activity and its impact on a heart-healthy lifestyle.

American Heart Association’s 2015 Greater Lansing Heart Walk 

Step up to heart disease and stroke by walking it out! 

The Greater Lansing Heart Walk is a non-competitive walking event that raises the critical dollars to support the American Heart Association’s lifesaving research, programs and education to help fight heart disease & stroke, America’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers. The fundraising event also encourages the importance of physical activity and its impact on a heart-healthy lifestyle. 

Participating in the Heart Walk is easy! Walk as part of your company team, or form your own team with family and friends. The 2015 Greater Lansing Heart Walk is at the Cooley Law School Stadium, 505 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912 on Saturday, October 10.  Rick Wendorf is the 2015 event chair.

8:30 a.m. – Registration begins
9:15 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies
9:30 a.m. – Walk begins
11:00 a.m. – Walk Ends

The Heart Walk kickoff will feature a Kid’s Zone with family-friendly activities including a mascot race, healthy snacks and more! Dogs and strollers are permitted. 

The event is sponsored nationally by Subway and locally by Delta Dental, McLaren Greater Lansing, and Sparrow.
