While many companies are experiencing difficult economic conditions in the United States, now is a great time for your business to expand into global markets that continue to grow rapidly. LRCC's role in international development has helped to increase the level of global commerce being conducted in the region
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the US Small Business Administration (SBA) have provided LRCC grant funding to support a pilot export program called Pure Michigan State Trade Export Promotion (STEP). LRCC is host to the 19 county Central Michigan Regional Export Network (REN). Click here for map showing LRCC’s REN service area. Michigan’s STEP program provides reimbursements to qualified exporters to develop or expand export-related activities. Click here to learn more.
