Tiered Membership
In order to succeed in business, it is imperative for an organization to stay abreast of the needs of its customers. What was important to your customers five years ago may not be a leading priority today. For the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, our customers are our members-1,300 businesses, governmental, education and non-profit organizations who join the Chamber for a variety of reasons. Our members are at the heart of everything we do at the Chamber, and we want to ensure that the services and programs we provide you are relevant to your changing needs.
The Chamber commissioned Capitol Research Services to conduct two focus groups and a series of in-depth interviews with Chamber members to help us identify how we can better align our services with the needs of all our members.
Initial findings were very encouraging. When members were aware of programs and services, they generally gave them very high marks. Members also told us they would like more personal
contact during the year with the Chamber, stronger networking opportunities and more flexibility to pick and choose programs and services that best fit the needs of their organizations.
As a result of the feedback from our members, the Chamber has developed a new membership dues structure that will not only offer the same benefits as your organization has received in the past, but also provides enhanced packages with additional benefits, such as All-Access passes to events and a menu of options from which you will be able to select services important to your company.
My thanks to our members who participated in the research project and have helped guide us through this process. It is because of our members that the region will continue to benefit from a strong Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce.
