Policy expert Sean Mann joins MI Legislative Consultants
LANSING, Mich. –Michigan Legislative Consultants is pleased to announce Sean Mann of Detroit has joined its government affairs team.
"Sean has a deep policy and political background developed over the past decade which will serve our clients well. Equally important, Sean’s appreciation for delivering quality work and a high level of service is what makes him a perfect fit for MLC,” said Tim Ward, a partner at the firm.
Most recently, Sean served as program manager for the Michigan Municipal League. During his tenure, he founded the "Let’s Save Michigan” campaign, a statewide initiative to promote the importance of core communities and quality of place. He also led several projects exploring innovation in the delivery of government services.
He previously served as a policy analyst and community organizer for the Democratic Caucus in the Michigan House of Representatives and was a parliamentary research assistant in the United Kingdom’s House of Commons. Mann is also the co-owner of the minor league soccer team, Detroit City FC.
A graduate of Kalamazoo College with a bachelor’s degree in history and physics, he earned his Master of Science degree in internal relations from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
