House of Mid-Michigan promotes Hurst to Director of Development and Public
Lansing, Mich. - The Ronald McDonald House of
Mid-Michigan recently promoted Carolyn (Cieciwa) Hurst to serve as its new
Director of Development and Public Relations. Hurst previously held the position of marketing and event
coordinator and executive assistant to the executive director and has been with
the House since 2012.
Hurst is a Michigan State University graduate with a
degree in marketing and a second major in agribusiness management. She has
experience in marketing and event planning, and has been involved in several
fundraising and special events with the House since 2012.

experience to oversee events, campaigns and development.
Hurst is also responsible for fund development, marketing,
managing print and creative materials, website content updates, tracking
donations and corresponding with vendors, committee members and sponsors. Hurst
will serve as a member of the leadership team at the House.

Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan serves families from around the state and
beyond who have a child in one of the local hospitals or clinics. It has served
thousands of families by providing them a warm and caring home-away-from-home
where they can have home cooked meals, a place for siblings to play and a
comfortable space to sleep close to the hospital room where they spend
countless hours with an ill child.
