Lansing Regional Chamber Co-Sponsoring Program Exploring Governor Snyder’s Energy Plan on Thursday, January 16

(Lansing, MI) – The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) is co-sponsoring a program in which Chamber executives from around Michigan will join representatives of Governor Rick Snyder’s administration in discussing the Governor’s vision for Michigan’s energy future. The program takes place as follows:

Thursday, January 16

Noon – 2:00 p.m.

Radisson Hotel, Downtown Lansing

LRCC CEO Tim Daman will be one of the panelists that will discuss the business perspective regarding the Governor’s energy plan, and the importance of energy efficiency for the entire state of Michigan. The full panel involved in the program includes:

  • Valerie Brader, Deputy Legal Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Governor Rick Snyder
  • Tim Daman, CEO, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • Gregory Ioandis, President, ITC Michigan
  • Diane Doucette, Executive Director, Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy

"The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce has taken a leadership role in advancing good public policy when it comes to encouraging more energy efficiency measures and the development of cleaner technologies,” said Daman. "Governor Snyder’s "no regrets” energy future by 2025 ensures that we can be adaptable, have energy that is reliable and affordable, and protect our environment.”

Thursday’s program is co-sponsored by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce.
