PPA’s Dan Gough Elected to Lead Brownfield Redevelopment Authority

Daniel Gough, a Public Policy Associates, Inc. (PPA) research assistant, has been elected chair of the Ingham County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.

The Authority supports the cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated properties that promote the county's economic development goals. It provides tax incentives to assist in redevelopment projects that would otherwise be cost prohibitive due to the environmental cleanup required. These projects restore and protect the environment, reduce blight, and preserve green spaces.

Mr. Gough also serves on the Ingham County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

"Dan is emerging as an important leader in creating a stronger and environmentally cleaner Ingham County," said PPA President Jeffrey D. Padden. "His public service commitment blends perfectly with his work as part of the Healthy Communities Team at PPA."

Mr. Gough provides support for the Michigan Sense of Place Council, a public-private partnership using place-based economic development to build vibrant communities. He is also part of an evaluation team studying the impact of W.K. Kellogg Foundation grants in improving the lives of children and families in Michigan.

PPA is national policy research, evaluation, and strategic planning firm that provides high-caliber, independent information to guide clients to innovative solutions and sound decision making. For more information, visit
