American Advertising Federation Recognizes Local Marketing Agency

American Advertising Federation Recognizes Local Marketing Agency

Award season is just getting started for the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Across the nation, AAF chapters are finishing up the first leg of a three-tier national competition to acknowledge the highest quality creative designs in the industry. The competition is known as the American Advertising Awards (formerly known as the ADDY Awards competition), and recipients of awards at the local level have the opportunity to advance to the second stage of the competition: the district level.

A Lansing-based company, Rizzi Designs is among those from mid-Michigan who will advance in the competition, after winning ten American Advertising Awards for their creative work in print, web and video. The marketing agency earned Gold ADDY Awards for their Socks for Lansing video, as well as their advertising campaign for Peconic Lawn & Tree Care. Rizzi Designs also took home Silver ADDY Awards for web design (Dart Development Website), a local TV commercial (ASK), a non-profit fundraising video (Oldham Project 2013 Gala Video), and for their 3D demonstration video. Additionally, the AAF acknowledged four other Rizzi Designs projects with Merit Awards, including projects for the Michigan State University Business Analytics Master’s Program and Billboard Jazz Artist, Phil Denny.

The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club competitions. A panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a Silver ADDY.
