Red Cedar Golf Course to be Re-Envisioned

Upcoming Community Engagements allow for citizen input

LANSING, MI - LEAP announces the start of a public design community engagement for the former Red Cedar Golf Course (now the Red Cedar Park).

Ferguson/Continental Lansing, LLC has been working with LEAP and other area agencies to jump-start what could be a multi-million dollar redevelopment of the Lansing park. This development would convert portions of the park to multi-story residential/commercial/office space while reconfiguring the remaining park space to include natural storm water filtration and bike and walking trails, among other amenities.

Two community events will take place to envision the future design and use of the park. These events are a time for community members to engage in the design process and provide valuable input. Ferguson/Continental Lansing, LLC will be present at the community engagement events to work with the community.

The first public envisioning community engagement will take place on March 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the Foster Community Center, Room 213 (200 North Foster Avenue, Lansing). The second community engagement will take place on April 15th at 6:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Congregational Church, Community Room (2001 East Grand River Avenue, Lansing). All are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Event related questions should be directed to Jennifer Grau, President of Grau Interpersonal Communication, Jennifer@grauinc.com (517) 484-5756.
