Edge Partnerships earns PACE Awards for excellence in public relations

LANSING, Mich. — Edge Partnerships earned top honors at the 2014 PACE Awards ceremony April 24 in Lansing.

Edge received the Pinnacle Award, the highest honor presented, for its integrated communications campaign for the Waverly Community School’s tech bond proposal, which won voter approval in May 2013.

Edge also received a PACE Excellence Award for its Farm Bureau Insurance Lake Estate Brochure, exemplifying excellence for a single public relations tactic.

The PACE Awards, hosted by the Central Michigan chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (CMPRSA), are mid-Michigan’s highest honor for public relations campaign and strategies. They are awarded annually to local professionals who, after being judged by out-of-state peers, are honored for successfully covering an issue with professional and exemplary creativity, skill and resourcefulness.

Edge CEO Lorri Rishar also is a past recipient of the PACEmaker of the Year Award, the highest honor awarded by CMPRSA.

Edge Partnerships, one of Michigan’s Top 50 Companies to Watch, is a full-service public relations, marketing, branding, advertising and advocacy agency located in downtown Lansing at 117 E. Kalamazoo St.
