Re’Shane Lonzo honored with
Unsung Hero Award
LANSING, Mich.—Re’Shane Lonzo, founder of Lansing-based DRM International Learning Center, receives the A. Phillip Randolph Institute (APRI) Unsung Hero Award.
The award celebrates those who display education, engagement and exercise actions to better children’s future. Lonzo receives the honor at the 14th annual APRI Role Model Celebration on April 26 at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing.
Lonzo founded DRM International Learning Center in 1997 as a mentoring center for at-risk teen girls. She was inspired to create DRM Private Home Healthcare after one of her program graduates was in an automobile accident; Lonzo assisted in her getting necessary care.The Learning Center is a vocational school for those entering the healthcare profession.
Lonzo resides in Lansing.
