Family-Owned Company Converts to NAPA Brand

LANSING, MI – One of the largest distributors of automotive parts and equipment in mid-Michigan, formerly known as CARQUEST The Parts Place, has recently undergone a change in affiliation and is now a member of the NAPA family. All eight locations throughout the greater Lansing area, owned by Dick
Seehase, will now be known as The Parts Place NAPA.

“Our customers will notice no change in the great service they’ve received for the past 50 plus years,” said company president, Dick Seehase. “With the new partnership, our customers will also get the unmatched inventory and programs offered by NAPA.”

As a third-generation family-owned business, the newly renovated stores will continue to provide the same warm and inviting atmosphere customers have come to expect from The Parts Place. Locations include stores in East Lansing, West Lansing, Holt, Charlotte, Mason, Eaton Rapids, Williamston and
Stockbridge.

A new 18,000 square foot warehouse in West Lansing has been established to serve as the hub for larger shipments and redistribution among the other stores.

Seehase says all of these changes are the beginning of a new era for The Parts Place.

“Our customers have always been our primary focus since we started the business in 1963 and always will be. As a partner with NAPA, we’ll be able to better serve our current customers and the new business we will be able to attract,” said Seehase.

Dick Seehase’s business partners, Larry and Cindy (Seehase) Meirndorf are also enthusiastic about this new relationship with NAPA.

“Since first starting The Parts Place, we have always strived to provide the highest level of customer service for our clients,” said Seehase. “The recent partnership with NAPA only ensures that we can provide our customers with even better products and services.”
