Alongside Night Movie Red Carpet Premiere Monday In Beverly Hills, California!

Movie Financed By Lansing, Michigan Businessman

The movie Alongside Night, starring Kevin Sorbo, will conduct its red carpet premiere on July 14 in Beverly Hills, California at 7:30 PM at Laemmie’s Music Hall 3, a theater which has hosted hundreds of film premieres over the decades.  So many requests for tickets have been received from entertainment industry actors, recording artists, agents, media, and film distributors that the screening has been moved into a hall with double the capacity of the original room.

Lansing, Michigan coin dealer Patrick A. Heller, who financed production and marketing of the film and is credited as Executive Producer, said, “In the past few weeks more than a thousand websites including Reuters, Fox News, CNBC, and others have posted Alongside Night interviews with Kevin Sorbo or J. Neil Schulman, the author of the original novel and director of the movie.  Interest is almost certainly stronger because of the Sorbo’s recent highly profitable independent film, God’s Not Dead.  The movie received a publicity boost when former Congressman and three-time presidential contender Dr. Ron Paul interviewed Schulman on his television show last month and endorsed Alongside Night.

Alongside Night is set in the near future depicting the United States government on the brink of collapse from the effects of quantitative easing, inability to sharply cut spending, and depriving citizens of their civil rights and liberties.  The story is presented through the experiences of Elliott Vreeland, a 16-year old high school senior (played by Christian Kramme) whose father (played by Sorbo) is a Nobel Prize-winning economist.  Events in the world today were so accurately forecasted by Schulman’s prophetic 1979 novel that a few years ago Ron Paul observed “J. Neil Schulman’s Alongside Night may be even more relevant today than it was in 1979.”

Ticket and interview requests should be directed to the film’s publicists, Liz Kelly and Shannon Donnelly of Levine Communications Office at and or by phone at 310-300-0950.  Domestic and international film distributors potentially interested in handling Alongside Night should contact the film’s representatives, Glen Reynolds ( or Alex Nohe ( at Circus Road Films.
