Granger Disposal Center is New Resource for Greater Lansing Community
Representatives from Granger, the DeWitt Area Chamber of Commerce, the Lansing Chamber of Commerce and special guests met today to hold a ribbon cutting for the Granger Disposal Center of Lansing.
The Disposal Center, which is located at 16500 Wood Road in Lansing, between Lake Lansing Road and State Road, is a valuable resource to local residents and businesses. The Disposal Center is open to the public for self-hauling of household trash and other items.
“We’re excited to celebrate the opening of the Granger Disposal Center of Lansing,” said Keith Granger, CEO. “The greater Lansing community now has a convenient resource for disposing of waste items.”
Customers who previously used the self-haul at Grand River Avenue Landfill, along with new customers in the area, can now use the Disposal Center to conveniently dispose of waste items. The Disposal Center is ideal for DIYers, other local residents and businesses, and accepts general household waste, construction materials, furniture, appliances (with or without Freon), tires and yard waste. The facility is open six days a week—Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Granger collects tomorrow’s energy. A local, family-owned waste collection company, Granger provides waste hauling, disposal and recycling services and produces renewable energy from landfill gas. Visit www.grangernet.com to learn more.
