Lansing, Mich. - Clark Hill attorney Paul J. Cervenak has been named to Super Lawyer's 2014 Rising Stars List.Mr. Cervenak, who also received the award in 2013, was again selected for his work in the area of Business/Corporate law.

 

Mr. Cervenak focuses his practice in the areas of corporate and partnership law, commercial contracts and licensing, real estate acquisition and development, general business matters, secured transactions, public and traditional financing, and mergers and acquisitions. He frequently advises and assists businesses in all forms and stages of contractual matters and he has significant experience in confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation issues. In addition, Mr. Cervenak is experienced in real estate acquisition and development, including the formation of business and residential condominiums, and the negotiation and preparation of leases, purchase agreements, development agreements and financing documents.

 

Mr. Cervenak participated in East Lansing's Emerging Leaders program in 2008 and he served as a commissioner on the City's Planning Commission until 2011, during which time he assisted in drafting the East Lansing Conditional Rezoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 1252. Mr. Cervenak is currently the President of the East Lansing Public Library Board of Trustees, where he is in charge of budget and policy making decisions affecting the Library.
