WHY: The Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing (HBA) has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program for the past two years to donate toys to brighten the holidays of Lansing area children in need. Of all of the Toys for Tots
of Lansing corporate sponsors, HBA has given the largest number of donations every year.
“Last year was the first year that HBA took on this fundraiser. Previously, HBA member, The Meridian Company spearheaded the effort. Our members raised $6,150 for Toys for Tots and purchased 2,056 toys. This year, we’ve already surpassed our goal by raising an amazing $15,670!” said Cindy Kosloski, chief executive officer for the HBA of Greater Lansing.
