Food Launcher Patent Awarded

East Lansing, MICHIGAN, January 20, 2015--The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office ( recently awarded A.J. Boggs & Company (AJBoggs) Patent No. 8,875,658, for the invention of a new projectile food product invented by Clarke Anderson, Eric Anderson, and Timothy Colonnese (CEO of Lansing’s KTM Industries,

The invention involves an edible food projectile that can be launched to feed animals, though it can be used by humans in games such as “Humans vs. Zombies” (see

A starch-based material is used to cushion the projectile, embedded with food or medicine, which is launched for animals to retrieve and eat.  It can be used to feed or deliver medicine to animals and encourages exercise. The invention shows promise as a fun way to feed pets as well as zoo animals.

AJBoggs provides information technology and enterprise systems solutions to business, government, and healthcare organizations. The company specializes in managed hosting, Internet-based systems development, search engine design, next generation enterprise systems and web service development.
