Burcham Hills welcomes new staff members

Burcham Hills has named Jennifer Kirkland director of development, AnnaLee Alexander director of rehabilitation and wellness and Marcy Harris director of the resident center.

Kirkland has several years of experience in hospice, gerontology and long-term care, specifically in development and training.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in gerontology and a master’s degree in education and performance improvement.  Kirkland also has a certificate in nursing home administration.

Alexander served 10 years on Burcham’s therapy staff before being promoted to her current position.  She earned a bachelor’s degree from Baker College in occupational therapy.

Harris brings more than eight years in senior care to her new position.  She earned a nursing degree from LCC and became licensed in 2009.  Previously, she worked for several years as a nurse manager at Trinity Senior Living Communities.

Burcham Hills is a continuum of care retirement community providing quality retirement living in its Resident Center and short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in its Center for Health & Rehabilitation.  A not-for-profit community, Burcham Hills was founded in 1974 in East Lansing and offers the most flexible range of senior housing options on a 46 acre campus and the highest quality standards in retirement living.
