MEG Names Chris Meyer as Director of Development

Meridian Entertainment Group (MEG) announced on Monday that Chris Meyer has joined the MEG Team as the Director of Development. In this role, Meyer will oversee the company’s live event sponsorship department in addition to helping build the Company’s corporate talent buying and strategic business development business.

“Meridian is only as good as the people who work for it and we are excited about what Chris is able to bring to our team,” said MEG co--‐founder and president Brad Coombs. “With this new addition, our Company is stronger than ever, and is poised to achieve growing success moving forward. Chris’ knowledge and expertise in the live events business, including music and sport, will be invaluable, and we are thrilled to have him become a fulltime member of our organization.”

Meyer most recently served in a client development role for Canadian--‐based, Pointstreak Sports Technologies, Inc. He was integral over the past five years in bringing to market an emerging tech platform created to enhance the fan experience at live events. Prior to that he spent nearly three years as sponsorship coordinator for the award winning music sponsorship and activation agency, MAC Presents.
