Popular Coal Oven Pizzeria Adds To Management Team

Lansing, MI – April, 2015 – Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza is proud to welcome several new members to their management team. The Eastwood Heights location recently celebrated its third anniversary and is adding local staff to accommodate for growth. 

Josh Parker was hired as Assistant Store Manager and Marketing Bambino.  He is responsible for store operations, vendor relations, customer service, community outreach, and special events. He is currently training under the corporate marketing director and assists other stores with their planning and campaigns.

Store Assistant Managers Ashley Felman and Nick Owens have added the title of Corporate Training Managers to their position.  They spends their time travelling to other Tony Sacco’s locations for training and support. Ashley recently completed the corporate Front-of-House corporate training manuals to and will be working with Nick to write the Back-of-House manuals.

The team joins Co-Owners and CEOs Chuck Senatore and George Kurajian; Regional Director of Operations, COO and President Julian Copsey, Director of Operations Brian O’Hara, National Marketing Director Cindy Kangas and Lansing Store General Manager Nick Neveau.  Mr. Senatore states, “We are excited to welcome such qualified people to the Tony Sacco’s family. Not only will they bring a tighter focus on customer relationship quality to our sales team, but they are great role models for our employees and vendors who come into contact with them.”

Chuck and his team have been working hard to perfect the coal oven method.  The unique restaurant prepares menu items in a coal fired oven that generates an internal temperature of over 1,000 degrees, allowing food to cook quickly and create a perfect crust while leaving toppings al dente. Tony Sacco’s offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu that includes salads, sandwiches, wraps, wings, pizza, and dessert.  All food is made fresh, never frozen or cooked in a microwave.
