Gillespie Group celebrates Marketplace opening

LANSING, Mich. – Marketplace, developed and owned by Gillespie Group, today, celebrates its vibrant urban concept apartments located in the heart of the Capitol city.

Marketplace opened its doors in December 2014 to residents and is an envied address for professionals and students in the Lansing area due to its prime riverfront location neighboring the Lansing City Market.

Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, along with Lansing business leaders, attended the ribbon cutting to support Gillespie Group and Marketplace’s positive influence in the Lansing community. Following the ribbon cutting, visitors enjoyed tours of Marketplace.

“It’s an exciting time to be in Lansing,” said Pat Gillespie, owner and CEO of Gillespie Group “We are grateful for all of the community’s support and to those who came out today to celebrate.”

Gillespie Group is a major player in constructing urban living spaces throughout the region, including Midtown, Stadium District, Prudden Place and The Outfield.
