LANSING, Mich. – McLaren Orthopedic Hospital has once again earned distinction for its nationally recognized orthopedic program. McLaren Orthopedic Hospital has been named to Becker's Hospital Review’s 2015 list of "100 Hospitals With Great Orthopedic Programs." The list, which recognizes orthopedic programs that have earned considerable recognition, has now recognized McLaren Orthopedic Hospital for the third consecutive year.
“We’re incredibly proud of the level of excellence we achieve in orthopedics, and are even prouder to sustain that level of excellence over time,” said Tom Mee, president and chief executive officer of McLaren Greater Lansing and McLaren Orthopedic Hospital. “It’s indicative of our physicians, caregivers and team members’ dedication to provide nothing less than exceptional care for every patient, every time. We congratulate them on their achievement, and thank them for their unwavering commitment to our patients.”
McLaren Orthopedic Hospital is the region’s only hospital on the list.
According to the announcement from Becker’s Hospital Review: “The hospitals on this list are national leaders when it comes to several aspects of orthopedic care. They have received recognition for excellence from various reputable organizations in orthopedic areas like joint replacements, orthopedic surgeries and general orthopedic care. To develop this list, the Becker's Hospital Review editorial team examined several ranking and award agencies, including U.S. News & World Report national and regional rankings for orthopedics, U.S. News' common care ratings for hip and knee replacement, CareChex rankings for orthopedic care and major orthopedic surgery, Blue Distinction Centers for Knee and Hip Replacement, Healthgrades orthopedic awards and Magnet designation for nursing excellence.”
McLaren Orthopedic Hospital also recently received distinction from U.S. News & World Report, which ranked McLaren Orthopedic Hospital as among the nation’s best hospitals for hip and knee replacement.
