LANSING, MI –Peckham Inc., will host an information session and hiring event for individuals with disabilities interested in apparel manufacturing positions on Friday, January 15, 2016from 9 a.m. to 2p.m. at Peckham, 3510 Capital City Blvd (near the airport).
Wages for these jobs start at $8.50per hour and can go up to $13.50per hour for increased skills. Peckham offers health benefits and an onsite wellness center, cafeteria and learning labs. Paid training, bonuses and opportunities for overtime are also available. Successful candidates will have good hand eye coordination and finger dexterity, a willingness to learn and work well in teams.
Peckham’s Apparel & Manufacturing division is a leading provider for high performance fleece and extreme cold weather clothing for the military. Peckham also manufactures clothing for the commercial market including global companies such as New Balance and Patagonia.
