LANSING, MI – If you have a family history of a genetic condition like cancer or sickle cell disease, undergoing genetic testing may show if you're at risk of developing that condition.
Join Sparrow for a free community forum on advances in genomic medicine featuring Pavel Pichurin, M.D., Medical Genetics, Mayo Clinic. The forum is Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the East Lansing Marriott at University Place, Ballroom, 300 M.A.C. Avenue, East Lansing.
Advances in genomic medicine are creating innovative opportunities to help tailor health and cancer care to you. That means better diagnoses, earlier interventions, more efficient drug therapies and customized treatment plans.
Sparrow is the only Michigan-based health system that’s part of the prestigious Mayo Clinic Care Network. This collaboration helps Sparrow Physicians provide some of the most advanced care in the nation, right here in mid-Michigan.
