Kincaid Henry celebrated its ten year anniversary in 2015 with a breakout year of game changing projects throughout the State of Michigan.
2015 Project Highlights
Doggy Daycare and Spa – Okemos
Kincaid Henry worked with Owner, Janice Milligan, to bring a new facility to the Meridian Township area. Using our Collaborate Create Succeed model for project delivery our team produced a facility that the Doggy Daycare team, their customers and people of the community are very proud and excited to have.
The Element 903 – East Lansing
Kincaid Henry led the project team for this mixed-use student housing development in downtown East Lansing. Using our unique approach to project implementation we call Collaborate Create Succeed, we took this project from an idea to completion and kept it on time and on budget for our clients.
Ash Street Redevelopment – Mason
This historical, Brownfield, mixed-use redevelopment project houses the offices of Oracle Financial Solutions and ten loft apartments. We led a project team that included the Ingham County Land Bank, Hooker | DeJong, Architects, the City of Mason, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office, and the Michigan State Housing Authority to bring the oldest standing buildings in downtown Mason back to life.
East Main Redevelopment – Milan
This Historic, Brownfield, mixed-use redevelopment that encompasses an entire city block in Downtown Milan took vision and determination to put together. Working with over ten project partners Kincaid Henry and Owner, Dave Snyder are bringing back to life this block of buildings that will include 15 apartments and 6,000 sqft of commercial space.
The Beer Grotto – Dexter & Ann Arbor
The team at The Beer Grotto engaged with us to bring their concept, ‘taste it – love it – tote it’, to reality at the Dexter and Ann Arbor locations. Because of The Beer Grotto’s timely collaboration with our team we were able to bring on the best project design partners, properly define their goals and priorities so that our project team could create success in the project's construction and their business operations.
What’s Next For Kincaid Henry in 2016?
The Glick Mixed-Use Development – Jackson
We are excited to announce that we are working on a 44,000 square foot, four stories, mixed-use development in Downtown Jackson. This project will house an urban grocery store on the first floor and thirty apartments on the upper floors.
The Armory Historic Redevelopment – Owosso
This is the second Armory that our team is working on to redevelop. We are transforming The Armory into a Class A office building. The Armory will house the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce, Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership, Michigan Small Business Development Center and the Shiawassee Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, as well as a variety of small businesses and nonprofit organizations. The project team is working diligently to start construction on this project this spring.
Strongback Mixed-Use Redevelopment – Adrian
Downtown Adrian has amazing opportunities for redevelopment of its historic buildings. Our clients, life-long friends, Doug Kapnick and Steve Hickman, thought so as well and engaged with us to bring rebirth to three long-vacant, Land Bank owned, Historic buildings. Working with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the State Historic Preservation Office we are bringing 19 apartments and new commercial space to this great Michigan downtown. Our team is on track to commence construction this spring.
New Kincaid Henry Website
To celebrate ten years of business and a great breakout year, Kincaid Henry launched a completely new and distinctly different version of our website. This new website focuses on delivering imagery, content and videos that help showcase our projects and great clients that we have worked with over the past ten years. Our goal is to help people interested in us learn what we do, and how we do it gain insight on our process and projects. We also have links to all of our social media sites so that clients, the communities we work in and contractors can stay abreast of what we are doing. Check out our new website at www.kincaidhenry.com.
