On March 16, 2016, the Capital Area Health Alliance will be celebrating its 23rd anniversary and commitment to enhancing the health of the Tri-County community. It invites all community members to its Annual Meeting, entitled “Vision for the Future”, which will take place on March 16, 2016, from 8:00-10:30 a.m. at the Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, MI.
The Annual Meeting is a focal point of our year and draws attention to the many dedicated people and organizations who have given their time and resources to make CAHA’s work successful, showcases the achievements of CAHA over the past year, and will highlight the value CAHA brings to the community.
This year’s Annual Meeting is entitled “Vision for the Future” and will feature a Committee Showcase, displaying the accomplishments of the Alliance’s standing committees; a presentation by Marcus Cheatham, Health Officer of the Mid-Michigan District Health Department, about the recent Community Needs Health Assessment completed by Healthy! Capital Counties, the identified priority needs and next steps that can be taken; and a facilitated discussion about strategies for increasing integration between the work of the Alliance committees and community organizations.
The Vision for the Future Breakfast is presented at no charge to attendees and is sponsored by the Capital Area Health Alliance, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Lansing Community College, and McLaren Greater Lansing.
