The YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing will be concluding its Lenten series by hosting its 79th Annual Good Friday Breakfast on March 25th.
The breakfast is organized and hosted by the YMCA’s Christian Emphasis Committee, a group of community volunteers who work to preserve the YMCA’s spiritual heritage in all YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing branches and throughout the community. The Lenten series consists of a number of luncheons at numerous locations in the Lansing community, where the committee provides a speaker for those attending.
This year, the keynote speaker will be Reverend Arthur Thomas. Most recently, Arthur attended Rivers of Life Church in Holt, Michigan for ten years, and he served as associated Pastor for one and a half years before resigning his position in 2014. In 2015 Arthur returned to his full time passion of being the Founder and President of One With God Ministries. Arthur will deliver an inspirational and seasonal message at the 79th Annual Good Friday Breakfast. He is also a long-term member of the YMCA’s Christian Emphasis Committee.
The Good Friday Breakfast is open to the public, and will run from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lansing. The cost is $15 per person, or $120 for a table of eight.
To make reservations, contact Patty Dickson, Finance Clerk, at (517) 827-9632, or firstname.lastname@example.org by March 21st.
