Former Virgin Islands restaurateur new Burcham Hills executive chef

Kevin Kueppers of East Lansing, former owner of Robert’s American Grille on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and former chef at several country clubs, is the new executive chef at Burcham Hills.
The former chef of the Country Club of Lansing, Walnut Hills Country Club and the Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston, South Carolina is not the first member of his family to bring his talents to Burcham Hills. His father Frank “Chuck” Kueppers was Burcham Hills’ accountant for many years.
Kueppers is a culinary arts graduate of Johnson & Wales University in South Carolina. He won Chef of the Year Honors through the American Culinary Federation and received the Lewis J. Minor Lifetime Achievement Award for Professionalism, presented to the chef who exemplifies the highest standard of professionalism through certification, continuing education and training, culinary competitions and community involvement.
