Edge wins big at PACE Awards

Edge Partnerships earned two awards April 14 for outstanding public relations at the Public Relations Society of America Central Michigan Chapter (CMPRSA) PACE Awards.
CMPRSA awarded Edge Partnerships a Pinnacle Award for the public affairs campaign Post Labor Day School Start and Tourism Funding. The Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association’s Cindy Bowen, board chair, and Deanna Richeson, CEO, joined Edge in accepting the Society’s highest campaign award.
Edge accepted a second Pinnacle Award for a public service campaign created for the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency. They were joined by MVAA’s Suzanne Thelen, strategic communication and veteran engagement director, and Lynn Sutfin, web portal and veteran engagement strategist.
Edge Partnerships has previously been recognized at the PACE awards with co-founder and CEO Lorri Rishar, MBA, earning Pacemaker of the Year in 2011.
The CMPRSA PACE Awards are held annually to honor mid-Michigan’s public relations practitioners based on judgment from their peers, professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. PACE judges also takes into account how practitioners have successfully addressed a contemporary issue.
