After a year of construction and anticipation, Gillespie Group officially opens the Outfield Ballpark Lofts to residents April 27. This dynamic, mixed-use building is one of the country’s first upscale, residential developments on a professional minor league ball field.
Studio, one and two bedroom apartments, ranging from $875 - $1,700, make up the Outfield Ballpark Lofts. The apartments feature various floor plans with granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring and gated parking, with some enjoying 50-square feet of window overlooking the ballpark.
Construction on the $11 million apartment building began last April as part of collaboration with the city of Lansing. The Outfield Ballpark Lofts are located in center field of Cooley Law School Stadium, home to the Lansing Lugnuts. Last year, the city and Lugnuts owners made improvements to the stadium amounting to $13.5 million.
“Our efforts to improve downtown Lansing continue with the opening of The Outfield,” said Pat Gillespie, CEO of Gillespie Group. “Outfield residents can fully immerse themselves in the Stadium District and enjoy all the perks of urban living.”
The Outfield Ballpark Lofts are in the Stadium District of downtown Lansing and have already leased 69 of the 84 units. For floor plans and more information, visit www.lansingoutfield.com.
