Maner Costerisan Principal Bruce Dunn Gets MSBO President’s Award

The certified public accounting firm of Maner Costerisan is pleased to announce that principal, Bruce Dunn, CPA, CGFM, has received the Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) President’s Award.
Founded in 1937, the nonprofit MSBO’s mission is “to continually improve the leadership of and management in school business and operational service, while enhancing the professional, social, and economic well-being of its members.” The President’s Award is presented at the MSBO’s annual conference to a member who has shown exceptional service and achievement.
Dunn joined Maner Costerisan in 1979, and serves as director of Maner Costerisan’s Education Practice Group and CPA Firm Practice Group. Beyond his leadership roles, he works closely with a diverse group of clients, including school districts, colleges, governmental entities, trade associations, nonprofit organizations, CPA firms and close-held businesses.
Dunn graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) and the Western Michigan University Alumni Association. In addition, Dunn is a member of the 1022 Bulletin Committee and the Single Audit Advisory Committee for the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). He currently resides in Grand Ledge with his wife, Kathi.
