Prompted by an overwhelming response, Lansing Brewing Company (LBC) is preparing to distribute its beer to an estimated 20 area bars and establishments starting in June.
Dan Henry Distributing Company, LBC’s first and only distributing company, will distribute the beer to Clinton, Ingham, Eaton, Calhoun and a portion of Livingston counties. Demand will be reassessed after June’s deliveries for future distribution.
LBC debuted its signature brew, Amber Cream Ale, at the Crosstown Showdown, an annual baseball tradition at Cooley Law Stadium. This marked the first time LBC shared its signature brew outside of the brewery.
The three signature beers of LBC will be featured at local bars and restaurants across mid-Michigan. These include Amber Cream Ale, Union Golden Ale and Angry Mayor IPA.
In the first full year of production, an estimated 1,700 barrels of beer will be sold, with 400 of the barrels slated to distribution. In the coming weeks, LBC will make hard cider. In 2017, the brewery plans to can their signature beers for local store sales.
Lansing Brewing Company offers a variety of signature and seasonal beers, wine and other spirits, and a full menu. For more information on the brewery, visit lansingbrewingcompany.com.
