The Salvation Army Capital Area partners with TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants for Dine to Donate

The Salvation Army Capital Area is excited to partner with TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, for a one-day Dine to Donate event on Sunday, June 26. This fundraiser will take place at six of TSFR’s Applebee’s restaurant locations in the tri-county area to benefit The Salvation Army Capital Area.

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., 10 percent of all guests’ food sales from the participating restaurants will be donated to The Salvation Army Capital Area to help support its many community programs including its food pantry, community kitchen, utility, rent and personal needs assistance to those in need in and around the Lansing area.

“We appreciate TEAM Schostak’s generosity and for allowing us the opportunity to increase awareness of the important work The Salvation Army does every day to help those most in need in the greater Lansing area,” said Major Alan Hellstrom, capital area coordinator of The Salvation Army Capital Area.

The following TSFR Applebee’s restaurants will participate in the Dine to Donate:

  • 2450 Coolidge Rd., East Lansing 48823
  • 2284 Woodlake Drive, Okemos 48864
  • 2440 Ontario Drive, St. Johns 48879
  • 1642 Packard Hwy, Charlotte 48813

“As TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is dedicated to providing support to our local communities, and the organizations that help provide for them, we are proud to partner with The Salvation Army Capital Area,” said Barb Pasciak, TSFR director of marketing. “They are a critical provider of food, clothing, comfort and care to those in need throughout the Lansing area. It is our hope that the local residents will join us at one of our six locations to help us generate the funds needed for the Salvation Army Capital Area to continue to serve as a valuable resource during others’ time of need.”
