Mayor of Lansing Announces Official Day for Award Winning Nonprofit

In celebration of Peckham, Inc.’s 40 anniversary, Virg Benero, Mayor of Lansing has announced an official “Peckham, Inc. Day.” Peckham has provided job training and employment opportunities for more than 106,000 individuals with disabilities in their 40 years of service. Peckham is committed to assisting job seekers secure and maintain long-term employment, allowing for job upgrades and career advancement.
“I urge all citizens to join with me as they commemorate 40 years of providing job training and competitive employment opportunities for persons with disabilities,” says Benero. “May the staff and Board of Directors continue their exemplary course in its mission to make a difference through generosity and support for many years to come.”
