On Wednesday, six students proudly walked across the stage to receive their diplomas from Ingham Academy. Ingham Academy helps “high risk” students earn high school diplomas while learning life skills, social skills, and gaining work experience. Students are taught on a no fail program, completing classes at their own pace.
Highfields' coordinator of Ingham Academy, Sharlein Rose, works closely with the students to help them succeed. She is happy to see the graduates overcome adversity to achieve their goals.
"The students that graduated this year are some of the best people that have ever passed through these doors,” said Rose. “They will be missed dearly and we wish them all a bright and successful future."
