Tours and information available at this blooming South Side neighborhood
The Ingham County Land Bank is inviting Lansing neighbors to join them at a block party on Saturday, Aug. 6 to celebrate the newly renovated Eden Glen Condominiums, located at 1733 Maisonette Dr. Guests can tour the condos from 1-3 p.m., including the club house, pool and surrounding community, as well as learn how to become an Eden Glen homeowner.
Eden Glen is an affordable and convenient housing option for those seeking a community and lower maintenance house. The Eden Glen Condo Association, Flagstar Bank and the Center for Financial Health will be in attendance to answer questions about down payment assistance, financing options and home ownership.
“We have a working history with the Ingham County Land Bank, and when the opportunity arose to team up with them on the Eden Glen Condominiums, we jumped at it,” said Beverly Meek, CRA director for Flagstar Bank. “Our loan product is designed to make it easy for potential buyers to purchase these attractive, well-priced condos. Everything about the product — the interest rate, the terms, the down payment — was developed to facilitate purchases.”
There are four condos available for purchase, ranging from two to three bedrooms all with one and a half baths. The condos include use of the club house, pool and lawn service.
"The Eden Glen condos are an affordable and convenient alternative to owning a
traditional house," said Dawn VanHalst, interim executive director of the Land Bank. "For those who are tired of renting or no longer want to maintain a house and yard, condos offer another exciting option for home ownership."
