CBRE|Martin and Forsberg Development partner to market Fountain Pointe Office Park and the Food Innovation District in Okemos
CBRE|Martin on behalf of Brent Forsberg of T.A. Forsberg Inc., the developer for the Michigan Food Innovation District (MIFID), is marketing 16 vacant lots ranging from 0.83-2.51 acres in Fountain Pointe Office Park, located on I-96 in Okemos.
Michigan State University is planning a $5 million expansion of their Food Processing and Innovation Center (FPIC) within the MI Food Innovation District (MIFID). Forsberg states that “MIFID offers a new opportunity for food entrepreneurs to be next to the FPIC. The creation of the MIFID in the Greater Lansing area brings together multiple stakeholders in the regional food industry, including agricultural producers, manufacturers, distributors and consumers. The MIFID will create new businesses and stimulate the growth of existing ones, and will increase opportunities for promotion, branding, and export of Michigan-grown and processed food products.”
The parcels can be combined and will be offered as build-to-suit for lease/purchase, or can be purchased to develop independently. CBRE|Martin’s diverse marketing team, which includes Jeff Ridenour, Julie O’Brien and Amy Richter-Perkins, is set to collaborate and bring multiple specialty interests to the park.
