“We commend the Lansing City Council for their vote to approve the Lansing Board of Water and Light’s new central substation. We recognize this was a difficult decision and we applaud the City Council for conducting a transparent process that allowed for all opinions to be heard. The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for energy policies that ensure reliable, affordable and clean energy for the Greater Lansing region. This was the right decision that will support future economic investment and job creation in our region.
