Lansing District welcomes new Director
Junior Achievement President, William Coderre, is pleased to announce that Jocelyn Wilder has accepted the new District Director position created for Junior Achievement of Mid-Michigan.
Jocelyn, a six-year veteran of the nonprofit sector, previously served the Boy Scouts of America in the Southern Shores area, as well as a variety of businesses for 15 years prior. She holds a BA from Iowa State University in Business Management and specializes in fundraising and donor relations.
Jocelyn will head the day to day operations of JA of the Mid-Michigan office and offer leadership to our Education and Development Departments. She will serve as the main public contact for the tri-county district.
Jocelyn and her husband Josh are the proud parents of two children, Brylee Grace (age 3) and Harrison (age 1). In her spare time she enjoys photography, DIY projects, volleyball and spending time with her family. She generously volunteers for Kiwanis International in the downtown Ann Arbor chapter, the Boy Scouts of America as a Chartered Organization Representative, and serves the Westwinds Community Church of Jackson, Michigan.
Anticipate seeing Jocelyn around the area during the next several weeks as she seeks to build meaningful relationships in the Lansing community. Her first official day was September 6th, where she began training in the JA of the Michigan Great Lakes office headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI.
Jocelyn would love the opportunity to meet and get to know all supporters of JA Mid-Michigan. Please take a moment to reach out to her, introduce yourself, and welcome her to our dynamic organization!
