Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Highfields has awarded the Robert L. Drake Citizenship Award to Richard E. Martin. The Citizenship Award is awarded “to individuals who through commitment of time, deeds, and leadership, have brought together many citizens from all parts of our community and engaged their talents to create special opportunities for youth and families to grow stronger, thereby enriching the fabric of our community.”
Rich is a long-time supporter of Highfields. He served on the Board of Directors for five years and as the Board Chair from 2012-2013.
“Rich has been a loyal supporter of Highfields and his steadfast leadership and passion for our mission serves as an inspiration for myself and our entire organization,” said Brian Philson, President and CEO of Highfields.
The Highfields Partnership Award has been awarded to Jackson National Life Insurance Company. The Partnership Award is awarded annually to a company or organization that has contributed to the fulfillment of Highfields’ mission.
Jackson National Life Insurance Company has generously supported many of Highfields’ projects to upgrade the safety and programming of our residential program – from helping renovate our gym to funding Family Treatment Weekends. They also provide generous in-kind support for Highfields’ communication materials.
“Jackson National Life’s commitment to Highfields has helped move our mission of helping children and families forward in ways that we would not have been able to do without their support,” said Philson. “Their support last summer was instrumental in helping unify families.”
The Robert L. Drake Citizenship Award and the Partnership Award will be presented at Highfields’ Annual Meeting on Wednesday, April 26th at Walnut Hills Golf Club.
