Culver’s Restaurants Growing in Lansing

5th Culver’s restaurant to open in greater Lansing area

The greater Lansing area is preparing to welcome another Culver’s restaurant to the community. The new restaurant will be located at 6250 S. Pennsylvania Avenue and is expected to open early in 2018. Known for its famous ButterBurger® and Fresh Frozen Custard, the restaurant serves fast casual food cooked-to-order.

An official ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 11 at noon. Local franchise owner Kevin Scott, along with Mayor Virg Bernero, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, Manager of Business Development, Christine Zarkovich and city dignitaries will be on hand to break ground for the new restaurant.

“We’re excited to provide the community with another location to enjoy Culver’s handcrafted, high-quality meals and desserts,” says Scott.

Scott, a lifelong Michigan resident, attorney and professor of law emeritus at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, has been an active participant in local professional, civic and community activities for over 20 years. Together with his wife Mable and their daughters Kourtney, Kori and Kennedi, look forward to a long future of providing Culver’s quality service and products to the Lansing community.

When completed, the restaurant will have dine-in seating, drive-thru and take-out service. After ordering at the front counter, guests seat themselves and relax while their food is cooked-to-order and delivered quickly to their tables.

Culver’s signature sandwich and guest-favorite, the ButterBurger®, is made with 100 percent fresh, never frozen, U.S. beef and topped with a lightly buttered and toasted bun. Cooked-to-order favorites include the Bacon Deluxe and Mushroom and Swiss ButterBurger.

Culver’s Fresh Frozen Custard gets its legendary creamy decadence from high-quality, fresh Wisconsin dairy. Each batch is hand crafted throughout the day. In addition to making their own creations, guests can customize their desserts with more than 30 mix-ins and toppings.
