The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Dewpoint and McLaren Greater Lansing as the newest members of the Chamber’s prestigious Leadership Circle. Dewpoint and McLaren join 10 other regional organizations in the Leadership Circle, whose members are committed to leveraging their collective economic impact to build a stronger region, assisting the Chamber in its role in advocating for a more prosperous business community, and to support small business growth in the Greater Lansing region.

“We applaud Dewpoint and McLaren Greater Lansing for demonstrating the vision and leadership this region needs,” said Tim Daman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “The need for business leadership may be as important today as any time in our region’s history. Our Leadership Circle members are leading our region’s continued transformation as a vibrant, thriving community with a world-class quality of life.”

Dewpoint and McLaren Greater Lansing are the newest members of a Leadership Circle Group that includes: AF Group, Auto-Owners Insurance, Dean Transportation, Farm Bureau Insurance, General Motors, Granger, Jackson National Life Insurance, Michigan State University, MSU Federal Credit Union and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. Their combined economic impact in working with businesses in Greater Lansing is more than $640 million. These organizations have also combined to invest more than $2 billion since 2012. They provide employment for a combined 26,000 people in Greater Lansing and support 90,000 indirect jobs in the region.

“Leadership Circle members are supporting thousands of other smaller businesses in the region by hiring vendors, professional service organizations and buying goods and services,” said Daman. “They are business leaders that are committed to looking beyond their own individual success and demonstrate a willingness to help build a region that encourages business growth, investment and job creation for all business — large and small. That is the path to true prosperity and an outstanding quality of life.”
