Kandler Reed Khoury Muchmore Expands with Addition of Andy Leavitt

Kandler Reed Khoury & Muchmore, a leading Michigan government relations, public affairs and association management firm, today announced the expansion of the firm with the addition of 
Andy Leavitt as a partner.

Leavitt will provide strategic government relations and lobbying expertise to KRKM’s existing clients and help lead business development initiatives for continuing to grow the firm.

With proven success in effective coalition building, management and mobilization, as well as strong policy experience in financial services, agriculture, labor issues and municipal government operations, Andy boosts KRKM’s influence and effectiveness in Lansing and beyond.

Leavitt is an emerging leader in issues related to advancing Michigan’s technology and artificial intelligence economy, workforce development and talent recruitment and retention, with a focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and the future of work.

He brings significant political expertise, having served as chief of staff to two of Michigan’s most prominent and formidable leaders:  Congressman Dan Kildee and Michigan Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich.  Previously, he managed several political campaigns, worked on legislative staff for state and federal policymakers, including US Sen. Debbie Stabenow.

Leavitt holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Central Michigan University.
