Peckham Community Partnership Foundation Hosts Spring Speaker Series

The Peckham Community Partnership Foundation will host the bi-annual Speaker Series featuring Michelle Kinder, Executive Director of Momentous Institute and expert in emotional intelligence in the workplace.

"Emotional tone is contagious and an emotionally intelligent workplace allows for each person on the team to bring their best self to every situation," says Kinder. "Nurturing an emotionally intelligent workplace creates optimal conditions to motivate strong performance across an organization. On Thursday, April 19, there will be a morning session from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. and an afternoon session from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. Sessions are free and open to the public and will take place at Peckham Inc., 3510 Capital City Blvd., Lansing, MI 48906.

Michelle Kinder, is the executive director of Momentous Institute, an award-winning Texas nonprofit that aims to build and repair social and emotional health with families. She is a nationally recognized speaker on trauma, parenting, social emotional health and emotionally intelligent leadership. Her work has been featured in many national publications including TIME magazine, PBS, Huffington Post, Washington Post and more.
