Potter Park Zoo to Host Dedication Ceremony for Lions Club

Who: The Lansing Lions Club has worked with Potter Park Zoo over the past eight years on a sensory garden in the zoo.

What: The third and final phase of the sensory garden, a waterfall, was recently completed. The Lions Club Sensory Garden Centennial Waterfall Dedication ceremony will be held at the zoo this week. Light refreshments will follow the dedication ceremony.

When: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019

Where: Potter Park Zoo Sensory Garden ​

Why: The Lions Club Sensory Garden is an important contribution to Potter Park Zoo’s efforts to become more sensory friendly and inclusive.
