The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and Dale Carnegie are proud to jointly announce a new partnership that will bring a best-in-class talent development solution to all Chamber members throughout the Greater Lansing region.

Chamber members now have access to the world-renowned training programs that have been recognized as transformational by past program graduates and current business leaders like Warren Buffet, Lee Iacocca, Tom Monaghan, Rich DeVos, CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, J.W. Marriott Jr., and more than eight million others around the world.

“A partnership between the Lansing Regional Chamber and Dale Carnegie was a natural fit as both organizations recognize the tremendous impact that high-performing employees can have on their respective business,” said Michelle Rahl, LRCC Director of Business Development. “Talent attraction, retention and development will continue to be a key component of business growth and we are excited to add Dale Carnegie to our leadership and talent development offerings.”

The Dale Carnegie course focuses on five key areas: building self-confidence, developing enhanced people skills, improving communication skills, developing leadership abilities and teaching how to control one’s attitude while dealing with worry and stress. All are critical areas in talent development in 2018.

“We’re honored to have the opportunity to serve the community through this partnership,” said Matthew D. Anderson, Executive in Residence with Dale Carnegie. “As a Dale Carnegie trainer myself, I have seen first-hand the dramatically positive impact this program has on a company’s culture and the behavior of Fortune 500 employees. Through the leadership of the Chamber, this talent development opportunity will be transformational for our region.”

Through the partnership, the Chamber has secured special reduced pricing for all member organizations that choose to invest in the talent development of their employees.

“One of the reasons why the Chamber selected Dale Carnegie for this partnership is due to our ACCET and ISO 9001 certifications,” said Anderson. “Which means the program is fully accredited for continuing education units and is internationally recognized to guarantee results.”
