Growing Okemos Law Firm Announces New Attorney

Okemos, MI — Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC has welcomed its eleventh attorney to the firm. Steven L. Koski has joined the law firm as a member of its growing Local Government Practice Group.  The Okemos, Michigan law firm, which opened in 2008 with four attorneys, now serves more than 140 townships, cities, villages, counties, drain commissioners and public libraries throughout the state of Michigan.

Steven brings a wealth of practical experience to the representation of Michigan’s local governments.  For several years prior to joining the firm, Steven served as a member of the Republic Township Board and its Planning Commission.  During his term of office, he experienced first-hand the range of issues facing municipalities.  In addition, Steven brings experience in state government to his representation of municipalities.  Before joining the firm, he served as a member of the legislative staff of State Senator Steve Bieda. 

Steven received his Juris Doctor,
cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School after attending Northern Michigan University.  He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in November, 2013.
