Affordable Care Act Ruling Analyzed

at McLaren’s State of the State of Healthcare

LANSING, Mich. –The Affordable Care Act (ACA) will face its most critical test from the Supreme Court in June, whose ruling could devastate states like Michigan with federally operated health insurance exchanges. To help local medical and business professionals prepare for the decision, McLaren Greater Lansing Healthcare Foundation presents the 2015 State of the State of Healthcare, featuring Robert Laszewski, president of Health Policy and Strategy Associates, LLC, and nationally renowned authority on the ACA.

The event, to be held Monday, June 15 at the Crowne Plaza Lansing West, will feature Laszewski’s in-depth analysis on how a Supreme Court decision might impact Michigan, how the ACA will likely change no matter how the Court rules, how employers are providing coverage in the face of market and policy change, and how providers must continue to adapt.

“The Affordable Care Act continues to be such a dense and fluctuating topic and no less significant than its inception in 2010.” said Scott S. Stewart, chair of McLaren Greater Lansing Healthcare Foundation. “We are extremely proud to continue providing national experts to help provide clarity for our community.”

The State of the State of Healthcare is McLaren Greater Lansing Healthcare Foundation’s annual networking luncheon sponsored by the Business Partners in Health Committee. The annual event is dedicated to educating business and medical professionals about current health care industry trends, what to expect in the future, how to prepare for change, the critical importance of a healthy workforce, and more.

Tickets and sponsorships for the event are still available by calling (517) 975-7100. More event information is available at
